What the agent does on a case
Each stage of an investigation, and what the agent produces at it.
When a case opens, the agent runs an investigation. It gathers everything it can reach first, then reasons over what it gathered. You do not wait on it. The case opens straight away and fills in as the agent works.

And then, without announcing it
The split is the point. The agent writes no finding until it has consulted everything it can reach, so a finding never rests on a source it had not yet read.
The three at the end are never announced. You notice them because the case changed.
Screening checks every address on the case against the KYT and sanctions vendors you have connected. It pulls each address's history and balances. It checks any customer the case cites against your KYC vendor.
What it does when the run finishes
Three things happen at the end. The agent names the case from what the investigation learned, sets the case risk from the evidence and hands an unassigned case to your organisation's default assignee.
Assignment is routing. It says nothing about what should happen to the case.
What it does not do
The agent recommends. It does not decide, close a case, file with a regulator or act against a customer. What Cogentic AI never does sets out each limit and what it means when you sign.
