The agent side panel
The panel down the side of a case is where you talk to the agent and keep your notes. Everything in it is part of the case.
Every case has a panel down its left side. It stays with you as you move between the case's tabs, so a question you asked on Summary is still there when you are in the Explorer. Drag its edge to widen it, or collapse it when you want the room.
The tabs
Agent and Notes are always there. Where your organisation has the case plan turned on there is a third tab, Plan, and the first tab is called Discuss instead of Agent.
- Agent
A conversation about this case. Ask what it found, ask it to look at something again, or ask it to run the whole investigation again.
- Notes
What you want on the record that is not a message to the agent. A phone call you made, a judgement you want the next reader to see.
- Plan
The case as a checklist of what is left to do.
Asking for the investigation again
This is the one place you can ask the agent to run the investigation again. Ask the agent in the panel and it runs the investigation again from what the case holds now, including anything you have added and any SOP you have published since.
A second run reaches its recommendation independently. It does not carry over what the first one concluded, and it does not carry over a decision you have already recorded.
