The Customers screen

Customers lists every customer your systems have pushed into Cogentic. The records are read only.

Customers is the copy Cogentic holds of the people and companies your own systems know about. You come here to check what Cogentic has for somebody, and to see which wallets they have declared.

The data here is invented.

The Ethereum wallet reads as unclear because the two customers who declared it disagreed about custody.

Where the records come from

Your own systems push customers through the customer API. There is no form to add one and nothing here can be edited, so a record that looks wrong is fixed in the system that sent it. Search by your own reference for the customer, because that is the id your systems and Cogentic share.

KYC does not appear here

A vendor's KYC verdict belongs to a case. The case asks the vendor, captures what comes back and shows it against the customer there. The Customers screen holds the record your systems pushed and nothing else.

Why a case can name a customer

A case can show a customer's name beside an address. It can only do that when one of your customers has declared that address.
