Building a report from a case, what submitting one does, and where the templates come from.

A report is built from a template your organisation wrote, filled from the case it belongs to. You read every prefilled answer, because a value the case supplied is not the same as a question answered.

Submitting a report freezes it. It does not send it anywhere. You lodge it with the regulator yourself, outside Cogentic, and Cogentic does not record whether you did.

A case forms a suspicion

A report is built from a case, so the case has to have reached an outcome that calls for one.

A template supplies the questions

Your organisation writes the template. Every report pins the version it was built from, so a reviewer sees the questions as they stood.

Submitting freezes it

You read every prefilled answer first: a value the case supplied is not the same as a question answered. Submitting locks the report.

You lodge it with the regulator

Submitting sends it nowhere. You lodge it yourself, and Cogentic does not record whether you did. This step has no page because it is not ours.

The last step carries no link because it is not ours. You lodge the report yourself.
