Simplified compliance

You've got 99 problems. Compliance shouldn't be one.

Today your alerts, customer records, screening and reports live in separate tools. Cogentic connects them, and its agents investigate each alert and draft the report for your team to review and submit.

How it works

Setup is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Connect your tools, upload your policies and add your team. After that, the agents investigate each alert as it lands, draft the report and keep the record your auditors will ask for.

1

Connect your tools

Cogentic connects to the blockchain analytics, KYC and screening tools you already pay for, and to your case tool. The agents read from them when a case needs it. Your team keeps working in the tools it knows.

ConnectionsReady for cases
  • ChainalysisAnalytics
  • SumsubKYC
  • World-CheckScreening
  • SOP v4.2Procedures
  • Chainalysis, TRM and Elliptic for onchain analytics
  • Sumsub and ComplyAdvantage for KYC and screening
  • Notabene and the Travel Rule networks
  • Your case tool, such as Jira
2

Upload your policies

Upload your AML/CTF programme and SOPs. Cogentic turns each procedure into steps the agents follow on every case. When you change a procedure, new cases follow the new version.

  • Risk thresholds and escalation rules from your programme
  • Each case records the procedure version it followed
  • Your procedures, in your own words
3

Add your team

Invite your analysts, reviewers and compliance officer, and give each person a role. Cases go to an owner by your routing rules, and the person who prepares a report cannot approve it.

  • Roles for analysts, reviewers and approvers
  • Routing rules for who owns each case
  • Maker and checker on every report
4

Sit back while the agents investigate

Each alert from your KYT opens an investigation as soon as it arrives, overnight included. The investigation agent works it by your procedures.

  1. The agent works the case

It pulls the customer, wallets and transfers onto one case, screens every wallet, traces the funds and explains what it found to your analyst.

  2. Findings, cited and graded

Each finding is graded as evidence or lead and cites its source, so the case arrives ready for review.

5

Signed, sealed, delivered

When a case needs a report, the reporting agent drafts it on your regulator's form, such as AUSTRAC's suspicious matter report, using what the case already holds. An analyst reviews it, a second person approves it and it is lodged with the regulator.

Stay audit-ready

Every action, decision and approval is written to a log that cannot be edited, and each entry is chained to the one before it. When a regulator or auditor asks about a case, the record shows who did what, when and under which procedure.

Questions teams ask

No. Cogentic connects to the tools you already run, including Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Sumsub, ComplyAdvantage and Fireblocks. Your alerts keep coming from the same rules.See how
KYT raises the alert. The work after it is still manual: gathering the customer record, tracing funds, writing up findings and drafting the report. Cogentic's agents do that work and hand your team an assembled case.See how
Yes. The agents do the gathering and drafting that take most of an analyst's time on a case, so your team spends its time on decisions.See how
No. A person on your team approves every report before it is lodged, and the approver is recorded as the signer. Your organisation can also make a second reviewer compulsory.See how
