The vocabulary of onchain compliance, and where it differs from the words the product uses.
Onchain compliance borrows from three vocabularies at once: blockchain engineering, traditional anti-money-laundering practice, and the analytics vendors in between. The same word can mean different things in each, which is why a glossary is worth keeping.
This section defines the industry terms. The words Cogentic itself puts on screen, such as a case, a finding or a decision, are defined in the product documentation, because what they mean is set by how the product behaves rather than by the industry.
